Present each challenge to your kids and model your expectations. The students should be reading the doodle challenge and drawing a detailed doodle to match the description. Example (Draw a friendly monster who loves eating lettuce). Then, write about it on the back of the sheet (templates provided). Story writing, descriptive writing, and more! The possibilities are endless (and fun!).
Super fun for early finishers, indoor recess, morning work, fun time Friday, etc. I hope your kids have as much fun creating their doodles as I had putting these together!
